Can You Go Blind From Eye Floaters And MS?

First of all it's important to remember that eye floaters and ms are two completely different conditions and they affect the eyes in different ways.

Huge black eye floaters that are not getting any better are extremely common, but seeing a string of flashing white lights is more worrisome because of the potential retinal problems it could indicate. Tearing of the retina occasionally happens when the vitreous gel separates and pulls away from it.

If you all of a sudden start to get stringy lines or clumps when you look at things together with flashy lights in your peripheral vision then there is about a 1 in 7 chance for getting a torn retina or detachment. By all accounts having your retinal tear or detachment fixed as soon as possible gives you the best chance to recover your vision.
